Fire Safety Plans — Calgary & Alberta

Fahrenheit 451Fire Safety Plans
That Meet Code.

We have been creating Fire Safety Plans for condominiums, office towers, and commercial buildings for over 30 years. Our plans are designed to meet the Alberta Fire Code, provide critical information to first responders, and give building owners the tools to stay compliant year after year.

More Than a Document — It Is a System

At Fahrenheit 451, our Fire Safety Plans are meticulously crafted by individuals who have been involved in fire protection for over 30 years each. These plans provide crucial information for first responders, including vivid visual aids, photographs, and architectural drawings that plot the precise locations of all essential safety systems.

Our plans go beyond compliance. They include an inventory of installed safety systems with detailed photographs, giving building owners and managers everything they need to maintain those systems and stay current with Fire Code requirements.

For commercial clients, our plans incorporate Emergency Warden Systems with clear evacuation routes and instructions — designed to guide every occupant safely out of the building in an emergency.

“Our Fire Safety Plan is a system that allows building managers to collect data from the building occupants and by doing so they are actively increasing the safety of the building. The Fire Safety Plan itself will help with Code compliance but to be truly effective, it must be used on a regular basis.”

Emergency Warden System

Taking Your Property to the Next Level of Safety

We design Emergency Warden Systems for a wide variety of building types — from small commercial offices to large multi-tower residential complexes. These systems can be used as-is or fully customized to suit your property and its occupants.

When implemented and practiced, an Emergency Warden System dramatically improves the speed and orderliness of an evacuation. Wardens are trained to know their zone, assist those who need it, and communicate with building management during an emergency.

Our warden documentation is included in your Fire Safety Plan binder and is designed to be updated easily as your building’s occupancy changes.

The Most Visible Part of Your Safety Program

Emergency procedure signage is what occupants see first during an alarm. It must be clear, code-compliant, and designed specifically for your building — not a generic template dropped on a standard layout.

Our evacuation signs are custom-designed to guide occupants toward the nearest exit without overwhelming them. We work from your architectural drawings and conduct a site visit to ensure every sign is positioned correctly and meets Alberta Fire Code requirements.

We also produce site signage for building entrances showing the fire department exactly where emergency systems are located — increasingly required by AHJs on complex buildings.
