Building Responsibilities
Have you ever wondered what your fire safety responsibilities are as a building manager? The City of Calgary and Calgary Fire Department have outlined their requirements and time frames of how often each maintenance item must be completed.
The Fire Prevention Bureau, a Division of the Calgary Fire Department, has prepared a pamphlet listing the fire safety equipment maintenance requirements that are found in Division B of the Alberta Fire Code (AFC) (2006) for all existing buildings.
If you require clarification on any section of this document, you are welcome to contact us and we will ensure that your fire safety requirements are met.
