Emergency and Fire Safety Plans

Similar to testing, the Calgary Fire Department requires all commercial buildings, condominiums, and apartments to have a fire safety plan on-site, that meets the Alberta Fire Code. Fire Safety Plans help the Fire Department immensely in case of an emergency. It includes the layout of your entire building and the locations of all emergency equipment.

Here at Fahrenheit 451 we understand that a Fire Safety Plan can be an overwhelming undertaking, which is why we provide Fire Safety Plan services specific to your building. We provide all of the information required by the Calgary Fire Department, as well as a resident handout, and a specialized book explaining the fire equipment in your building.

We can also supply Emergency Evacuation Signs for elevators or specific rooms. Our Emergency Evacuation Signs can be printed in many ways to accommodate your specific needs. Elevator evacuation signs are drawn here in our office so we can engineer the colouring to match your building décor. Room evacuation signs are especially important for buildings with areas open to the public so that everyone who comes through your building can safely find the designated exits.
